Zdenka "Denny" Knose Obituary (1948

Zdenka "Denny" Knose, 69, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at Heritage House of Shelbyville. Born in Zagreb, Croatia, on May 10, 1948, she was the daughter of Joseph Horvat and Dragica (Novak) Horvat. Survivors include her son, Joseph Knose (wife, Amber), of Shelbyville; sister, Bozica Radacovic, of Shelbyville; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Knose had lived in this area since 1994, after moving from Germany. She was a homemaker and had been employed with American Armed Forces Exchange Service in Germany as a store manager. She graduated from high school in Croatia. Denny loved to cook and always showed compassion for the others. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with visitation there from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. She will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Shelbyville.
