Virginia R. Jackson

Virginia R. Jackson, 93, of Waldron, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Waldron Health & Rehab.
She was born in Shelbyville on March 17, 1925 to Frank & Athena O. (Stephens) Taggart. She married
Wayne A. Jackson Sr. in 1945 and he preceded her in death on October 5, 2001.

Survivors include daughter Judy Roell (husband Robert) of Shelbyville, son Wayne A. Jackson, Jr.
(wife Diane) of Shelbyville, Grandchildren Patty Pike (husband Scott), Linda S. Tugan (husband Jeff),
Vicki Woosley, Lorrie Peace (husband Gary), Aaron Jackson (wife Jen), Matthew Jackson, 11 Great
Grand Children and 7 Great-Great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, & 2 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Jackson was a lifelong resident of this area and graduated from Shelbyville High School.
She was a homemaker.

Virginia loved playing bingo, playing cards, watching John Wayne movies, the outdoors, and reading
Beverly Lewis books.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home,
437 Amos Rd. Visitation will be observed from 11:00 am until time of the service. Burial will be in
Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
