Sharyl L. Weingarth Obituary (1957 - 2018)

Sharyl L. (Talkington) Weingarth, 61, of Manilla, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital. Born February 7, 1957 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Robert Talkington and Janice (Emerick) Critser. Survivors include his mother Janice Critser of Shelbyville; son Brady Hornback (wife Mary) of Shelbyville; brother Robbie Talkington (wife Tami) of Shelbyville, 3 sisters- Cindy Jeffries (companion Bob), Pam McIver, Delores DeMott (husband Mike), all of Shelbyville; companion Bob Lanane of Shelbyville; 5 grandchildren- Tyler Hornback, Carolann Hornback, Aaron Ward, Kirstin Ward, Alexandria Girdler; 6 great grandchildren; and she also leaves behind her faithful canine companion Nick. She was preceded in death by her father. Mrs. Weingarth had lived in this area her entire lifetime, and attended Shelbyville High School She had been a factory worker at Fruendburg in Shelbyville for 20 years. Sharyl loved vacationing in Las Vegas, shopping, collecting purses, taking motorcycle rides with Bob, and spending time with her family. Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Rev. David Humphrey officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Rush County Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
