Martha A. Noel

Martha A. Noel, 85, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at Heritage House.

Born October 5, 1933 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Andy Young and Tessie Young. She
married Luther H. Noel on October 13, 1950 and he survives.

Other survivors include a son Larry D. Noel of Shelbyville; 4 grandchildren- Amber Morace, Stephanie Hawley,
Amy Baldwin, Ashley Houston; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons-
Greg Noel, and Kevin Noel, and 3 sisters.

Mrs. Noel was a lifetime resident of this area, and was a home maker. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1950.
She and her husband owned and operated Noel's Upholstery in Shelbyville for 46 years.

Martha enjoyed walking and riding her bicycle, gardening, and taking care of her flowers, flea markets, and spending time with
family and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, November 9, 2018 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with
visitation there from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Pastor Steve Bohall will officiate, and burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
