Lloyd E. Taylor Obituary (1931

Lloyd E. Taylor, 87, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at his residence. Born July 31, 1931 in Harrodsburg, Indiana, he was the son of Ver Taylor and Mildred (Sylvester)Taylor. He married Peggy (Harper) Taylor on July 2, 1966 and she survives. Other survivors include 3 children-Rick Taylor(wife Cathy) of Fairland, Scott Taylor(wife Diane) of Homosassa, FL, Darla McQueen of New Palestine; sister Norma Jo Marshal of Ft. Myers, FL, 2 sisters-in-law Nancy Neeb & Janet Loveless; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Ron Taylor, and grandson Richard Brinker. Mr.Taylor had lived in this area for 1 year, having previously lived in Winter Haven, FL. He graduated from Manual High School in Indianapolis and had been employed at Western Electric for 29 years in maintenance. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Haines City, FL. and was a US Navy veteran, serving in the Korean War. Lloyd enjoyed reading and golfing. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
