Lewis E. Eikman Obituary (1947

Lewis E. Eikman, 71, of Flat Rock, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at his residence.Born January 12, 1947 in Fairland, he was the son of Paul and Mary (Sutton) Eikman. He marriedDonna (Dark) Eikman on June 1, 1968 and she survives.Other survivors include 2 sons John Eikman (wife Jane) of Shelbyville, and James Eikman ofIndianapolis; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by hisparents, brother P. Maynard Eikman, and nephew Sam Eikman.Mr. Eikman was a lifelong resident of this area, and had been a factory worker at Kasco Manufacturing for over 30 years, retiring in 2009. He was a member of Eagles Lodge of Shelbyville.Lewis enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, woodworking, and raising livestock.A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 3231 E. Vandalia Road,Flat Rock, Indiana.Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the Eikman family.
