Ernest A. Wrightsman Obituary (1953

Ernest A. Wrightsman, 69, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus. Born October 21, 1953 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Alfred and Gledia Jones Wrightsman. Survivors include his wife Judy, of 20 years, 3 children- Michelle Gabbard, Jeff Wrightsman, Christina Fernandez; 2 step children- Cindy Alcorn, Charles Drew; 2 sisters- Phyllis Fletcher, Barbara Magendanz; brother- Bill Wrightsman; 4 grandchildren- Hannah, Sydney, Nolan, Gabby; 7 step grandchildren- Brandon, Skyler, Darren, Savannah, Alison, Alexis, Austin; 4 great step children- Liam, Bentley, Amelia, and Olyncia. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Dan, 2 brother in laws John Fletcher, and Fred Magendanz. Mr. Wrightsman had lived in Shelbyville for the past 10 years and attended Perry Central High School in Indianapolis. Ernie was a Trailer Technician at Yellow Freight for several years. Ernie enjoyed working on cars, yard work, wood crafting and loved spending time with family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later time.
