Donald E. Harrell

Donald E. Harrell, 81, of Shelbyville, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 29, 2017 at OUR Hospice Inpatient
Facility in Columbus. Don was born January 23, 1936 in Shelby County to Chester R. and Rosamond (Gullo) Harrell,
who preceded him in death. On June 12, 1955 he married Janice S. (Richardson) Harrell, whom survives and was
his caregiver. Also surviving are his four children, Bruce E. Harrell, Pamela R. Harrell, Kathy J. (Harrell) Skaggs, and
Bryan R. Harrell, all of Shelbyville. Other survivors are ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and two great-great
grandchildren.

Don graduated from Waldron High School in 1954. He owned and operated Spurlin Radio & TV for many years.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos
Road, with visitation there from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, and Rev.
Jimmy Collins will officiate.
