Danny Phelps

Danny L. Phelps, 54, of Greenfield passed away Monday, September 28, 2026, at Greenfield Healthcare.

Born on June 1, 1972, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Daniel K. Phelps and Carla Sue (Walton) Phelps.

Survivors include father Daniel (Debbie); daughter Megan Thoman; brother Ron Phelps (Robin); sister Tammy Bowman (Scott Arney); grandson Deric Thoman; nephews Deven (Kathleen) Cooper, Dayton Cooper; and niece Olivia Bowman.

He was preceded in death by his mother Carla, both sets of grandparents, and his aunts and uncles.

Danny spent his whole life in the Shelbyville area. He worked for Phelps Towing as a wrecker driver for several years and also was a tree trimmer. In his free time he loved to go fishing.

No funeral services will be observed.
