Charles T. Bartlett

Charles T. Bartlett 75, of Shelbyville, passed away February 13, 2017 at Franciscan Health, Indianapolis.
He was born November 29, 1941 in Shelbyville to Carl W. & Frances Louise (Smith) Bartlett. He married
Judy A. (Heck) Bartlett on December 26, 1992 and she passed away on May 28, 2010.

Survivors include children- Tim Bartlett of Shelbyville, Angela Bergen (husband Eugene) of Rushville, Amie
DeWitt (husband Tim) of Shelbyville, and Renea Watson (husband Joey) of Greenwood, sisters Shirley
Hastings and Mary Martin, both of Shelbyville, brother Jerry Bartlett of Flat Rock, Aunt Opal Leffler of Berea, KY.,
6 grandchildren- Jessica, Jonathan, Cristina, Jodi, Joe III, and Ryker, 2 great grandchildren- Quintin and Kailah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, brother Gene Bartlett, sister Kathy Smith and stepson Robert Heck.

Mr. Bartlett was a lifelong resident of this area, and had been employed as an inspector at General Motors Corp.
for 31 years. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, American Legion Post #70, St. Joe Social Club, and
United Auto Workers (UAW) of Indianapolis.

Charles loved listening to country music and gospel hymns. He enjoyed rabbit and deer hunting, and playing Bingo
at the senior center.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd.,
with Revs. Harvey Weaver and Frank Smith officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2017, from 4-8:00 PM
at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery in Shelby County.

Memorial contributions can be made to Riley Kids Hospital, care of the funeral home.
