Alice Merrill

Alice Merrill, 72, of Shelbyville passed away May 27, 2017 at OUR Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
Born July 1, 1944 in Linton Kentucky, she was the daughter of George & Mary V. (Lindsey) Mann. She
married Jerry Merrill on May 22, 1964 and he survives.

Survivors include sons- Jerry Merrill Jr. of Shelbyville, Douglas Merrill of Homer, David Merrill of Waldron,
daughters- Janet Jones of St. Paul, Deborah Ogle (husband William) of Greensburg, Angela Valenzuela of Texas,
Jeanie Merrill of Shelbyville, Deana Palmer (husband Fred) of St. Paul; Grandchildren - Daniel Merrill of St. Paul, Aaron Merrill of Shelbyville, Heather Tracey of Shelbyville; brothers- James M. Mann of Shelbyville,
Clifton Mann of Columbus, 39 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.

Mrs. Merrill had lived in this area most of her life, after moving from Kentucky. She was a home maker.

Funeral services will be Wednesday May 31, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437
Amos Road, with visitation there from 1:00 until the time of service. Pastor Gary Woods will officiate. Burial
will be in Miller Cemetery in Shelby County.
